These small graphite drawings, each about 2” square, explore the notion of intimacy. Because one has to be quite close to see the detail, only one person can view each drawing at a time; their small size thus draws the viewer into a private conversation.

While making this series, I sometimes felt I was drawing between the fibers of the paper.
